What Equipment is needed / What should I bring?

No special equipment is needed (no cleats, shin guards, etc).

We recommend athletic clothes appropriate for the weather, sneakers and a water bottle.  We provide the rest.  See you on Soccer Island!

How does the wait list Work?

When a spot opens up in a full program a blast email is sent to all on the wait list.  Registration is first come first serve via the online registration portal.  If you go to sign up and the product shows no availability it means the space has already been taken.  

You will remain on the wait list and get any additional automatic notifications if more spaces become available.

 

The season has already started but can I still register?

Yes, absolutely!

 

What is your Payment Plan Pricing Structure?

Please refer to the "Pricing" section of the individual product you are interested in signing up for details, dates, etc.

 

What is your Payment Plan Policy?

You can either pay the total cost of the season up front or elect to pay in monthly recurring installment layaway payments. If you selected the payment plan option when registering the remaining installment payments will come out on the listed recurring payment plan dates outlined in the respective program product.

The programs weekly cost is prorated for any late enrollments or missed scheduled auto-drafts. If there is a balance due remaining after the final scheduled installment payment (due to late enrollment or missed payment) the remaining balance due will be drafted automatically 7 days prior to the last scheduled class of the season.

Once the product is paid in full all scheduled recurring drafts stop automatically. Enrollment in following season programs is NOT automatic and must be repurchased each new season or school year.

 

How can I update my recurring payment method?

Follow the below steps to update your payment method on your account:

1.  Log into your Soccer Shots Account

2.  Navigate to My Account, Orders, Order History

3. In the drop down select All to show all previous orders

4.  Select your current product

5.  Click Change Recurring Payment Method

6.  From here you can update or add any new card payment method and save

7.  MAKE SURE TO SAVE THE NEW CARD AS BOTH THE PRIMARY AND CURRENT RECURRING PAYMENT METHOD TYPE from both drop downs at the top of the page

8.  Your payment method will automatically be drafted on the following business day....no need to make an additional payment as it will automatically attempt the scheduled draft again on the next business day.

 

How are Discounts Applied?

Any discount from coupon codes or sibling discounts are deducted from the total owed and will be applied at the end of the season towards the final payment(s) once the un-discounted portion is paid in full. You must remain enrolled for the entire season to receive the discounts. Early cancellations void discounts

 

Why was I charged again just after registering?

If you selected the monthly recurring payment plan option at checkout, the auto drafts will come out on the monthly scheduled date as outlined in each individual products pricing irregardless of the initial registration date.  All payments are applied towards reducing the total balance due on the product.

 

What is your makeup Policy?

During spring, summer and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, we will make up all classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, or rain).

During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two cancelled sessions or offer a make up session at a different location and time.

Make up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.

Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made. We do not refund for sessions that were missed, unless Soccer Shots had to cancel the session.  

At this time we cannot accommodate attending other sessions other than the one you enrolled for due to maintaining coach to player ratios and other safety concerns.

 

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

If you wish to cancel enrollment in Soccer Shots programming, you must send an email to boston.director@soccershots.com. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing 30 days prior to dis-enrolling. Any payments scheduled within the 30 window will still be drafted, and your child will be removed from the roster the following month.  

Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation for insufficient enrollment, a refund will be made.

 

What is Your Refund Policy?

Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance at a scheduled class or weather postponements. All weather postponed classes will be made up at a later date and time and will be communicated to you via email/text. If time does not permit for all weather postponed classes to be made up prior to the start of the next season, a credit will be issued to your account for use in a future Soccer Shots session.

Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.

Full refunds minus a $5 fee apply when the withdrawal of a student is received in writing 2 weeks prior to the start of any season.

Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.

There is no refund of the $40.00 registration fee.

No refunds will be issued after week 3 of the season.

Refunds prior to week 3 of the season will be given for the remaining sessions only.

No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a make up class.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative.

 

What is the class ratio size?

Minis classes are 1:12

Classics classes are 1:16

Premier classes are 1:16

School programs 1:16

 

What is your inclement weather procedure?

We will play in various weather conditions, as long as it is not detrimental to the safety of families or coaches (rain is okay, lightening is not, etc). In the event that adverse weather requires us to cancel a session, we have a make-up week built into our schedules at the end of each season to get those missed sessions in.  If there is an abundance of adverse weather, we unfortunately cannot play past the scheduled make-ups due to the expiration of park permits. We also cannot accommodate attending sessions other then the one you are enrolled in due to maintaining coach to player ratios and other safety concerns.

If a session does have to be cancelled due to weather, all rescheduled sessions will be communicated to the text & email address and/or phone number submitted at the time of registration.

We don't make decisions on cancellations until closer to the session time as weather may change throughout the day.

At elementary school locations, session will not be cancelled unless the school is closed. They will play in a safe area or play inside.

 

Can I Watch my Child Play at their school?

We love that you want to see how your child is doing at their Soccer Shots sessions! However, for safety reasons, we do not have any part in the approval process of families being present at any school session. Our coaches can be present at schools because of extensive background checks and district approval for the safety of the students.

If you wish to watch your child's session at one of our school programs, please reach out to your school’s administration to receive their approval. If you are uncomfortable with not being present at the session, we recommend that you check out one of our public park programs.
